## What sudopeer is

Most kids who love this stuff learn it alone, off tutorials and guesswork. Nobody around them can say whether the thing they built is any good.

We put them in front of someone who does the work for a living, and keep them there long enough that the feedback changes what they build next.

## How it works

The same mentor the whole way through.

### Where your kid actually stands (Calibration)

Someone who works with engineers every day looks at what they built and says plainly how good it is.

### What the work is like (The job)

The day to day inside a real company, including the parts nobody posts about.

### How people get in now (The path)

What hiring looks like this year, and what changed in the two before it.

### What to do about it (The plan)

A written page your kid keeps, naming what to learn next and what to ignore.

## What you get

The part school has no way to teach.

### An honest read on their work

Someone who does this for a living looks at what they built and tells them how good it is.

### The job before they commit to it

They find out what the work feels like while they can still change their mind.

### Someone in the industry who knows them

A person who has seen their work and will vouch for it when that counts.

## What parents get

You are paying for this, so here is what it is.

### A mentor employed in the industry

Someone who writes software for a living right now. You can check where they work in ten seconds.

### You see what happened

A written summary covering what your teen worked on and what comes next.

### A clear answer about your teen

Where they stand, from someone qualified to say it.

## Mentors who do the job right now

Every mentor is currently employed as an engineer at a top tech company. Not former engineers, not grad students, not teachers who once wrote code.

That matters because the industry changed in the last two years, and only someone inside it right now can tell your teen what is actually true.

## Common questions

### Who are the mentors?

We employ entry-level engineers and interns from top tech companies. Every one of them writes software for a living right now.

### What does my teen actually do?

They build something and bring it to their mentor, who reacts to real work. That is where the useful conversation comes from.

### What if my teen is a beginner?

That is fine. How deep the conversation goes scales to what they have built. The subject stays the same either way.

### What do they walk away with?

A written page naming where they stand and what to do next, plus whatever they built while they were here.

### What if it turns out not to be a fit?

You hear that from us early rather than late. Raise it on the free 1:1 and you will get a straight answer.
